Kratt's Creatures

Kratt's Creatures is an innovative, fun, hip and off-the-wall mix of excellent wildlife documentary, creative animation and humorous dialogue presented by two creature-crazy brothers, Martin & Chris Kratt, who hold degrees in zoology & biology respectively.

From Costa Rica's lush rain forests to Australia's brilliant Barrier Reef to Africa's dusty savanna, the brothers take viewers on exciting adventures in search of fascinating creatures in their natural habitats. Hanging upside down with sloths, swinging on branches with monkies or even paddling with sea turtles - Chris and Martin Kratt show kids what it's like to BE an animal.

Helping the brothers on each of their expeditions is Allison - a young wiz-kid & field research assistant who keeps in contact with the Kratt brothers through The Creature Screen (a video monitor). No matter where their adventures may lead, Allison uses her curiosity about animals to further explore the topic at hand and also helps kids to make the vital connection between exotic creature kingdom & the fascinating world unfolding in their own back yard.

Ttark is a part bird, part reptile, part mammal, wise-cracking animated confidante & jungle-smart creature consultant who gives an animal perspective of the creature world using creative cartoon images to demonstrate complex animal concepts.

Primarily aimed at Middle School kids, this award winning, ground breaking program has also proved extremely successful among young adults and parents and has lead to the spin off program geared more towards their younger viewers, Zoboomafoo.
