Knowledge Network Interactive partners with INSINC

Knowledge Network, British Columbia's public educational broadcaster, and INSINC, a Burnaby-based company specializing in online broadcasting, are pleased to introduce Knowledge Network Interactive - a new webcasting service targeted to government, corporate training, and educational event markets.

Knowledge Network will focus on producing the video content and packaging it with interactive online tools such as polling and chat room features. INSINC will provide the technical infrastructure necessary to deliver the video content over the Internet.

Webcasting is a form of Internet - based broadcasting. It combines elements of traditional television broadcasting with the interactive features of the Internet. Video and audio content is captured, and is then digitized, encoded, and streamed over the Internet to partipants anywhere in the world. Knowledge Network Interactive incorporates high quality video with text, graphic elements, and features such as polling and chat to allow interaction with an online audience. The content can be received in real time or archived for later retrieval.

Knowledge Network Interactive will premiere at the World Education Market 2000 (WEM 2000), May 24-27th 2000 at the Vancouver Trade and Convention Centre, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The WEM conference will be a forum for leaders in the field of education from around the world to conduct business in the areas of education, training, and lifelong learning. Knowledge Network and INSINC will host the webcast of WEM 2000 from an Internet Broadcast Centre, on the tradeshow floor. Come by and take a look!

Quality Council Leadership Forum, May 31/2000

The Quality Council of British Columbia is an organization that encourages and supports Canadian organizations to adopt quality practices in order to achieve world-class competitiveness.

This year the Quality Council will hold a Leadership Forum to provide an opportunity for CEO's from Canadian companies to discuss the issues that are relevant to them. Drawing from the results of a recent survey conducted amongst CEO's across Canada, a moderator will lead a group of six panelists from some of CanadaÕs premier companies in a debate about the issues they face as leaders. Topics of discussion will include their leadership styles and approaches, and a profile of the next generation of leaders.

Knowledge Network Interactive will be capturing the discussion and insights made during the forum, and webcasting the video content at a few weeks later at www.kninteractive.com. The Leadership Forum will be held at the Vancouver Trade and Convention Centre on May 31, 2000 from 12:30pm - 4:30pm.
